Eyebrow Tips

Some women has simply overlooked the importance of having well-groomed brows. Some thinks that as long as I don't have unibrows, I'm fine. No way! Or even, what if I have no more eyebrows after I plucked them?! Not true. It is important to have well-groomed brows! It acts as a frame to your face and eyes. With beautiful sparkling eyes and unkept brows, it is such a pity as the brows would have been a distraction to those beautiful eyes.

Let me share some tips on having well-grommed brows

  1. If you have never plucked your eyebrow before, see a professional
  2. Becareful about the distance between the eyebrows and the length of the brows
  3. You do not need thin, perfectly shaped elongated and finely drawn eyebrows now.
  4. Natural looking eyebrows are IN. However, natural does not mean unkept. Natural means eyebrows with shape and no stray hairs around your eye area.
  5. Brush your brows if the hairs are messy.
  6. Use eyebrow powder for fill-ins if you are afraid you might overdo your brows.
  7. For more shape, use an eyebrow pencil instead.

With nicely groomed eyebrows, you will definitely look fresher!

How to remove fake eyelashes

Many girls have neglected the steps to removing those fake eyelashes. This is important as long term tearing off the fake eyelashes will damage your eyelids! None of you would want to have saggy eyelids or sensitive eyelids right?

So... when you want to remove your fake eyelashes, always remember not to PULL it out!

- Use an eye and lip makeup remover!
- Put a suitable amount on a piece of facial cotton wool and gently press on your eyes.
- Hold on for 1 minute or so and press downwards as you remove your eyeshadow/fake eyelashes.

In this way, you can remove both youre eyeshadow and eyelashes together in a less painful manner. On top of that, you get to reuse your fake eyelashes because if won't be as damaged as being pulled out of your eyelid. =)

How to wear fake eyelashes

Many girls love doll like eyes and fake eyelashes plays a huge role in achieving those big sparkling eyes.

Today, I will share with you girls 5 important steps to putting on fake eyelashes.

1) Make sure your eyelids are not oily. The 'glue' would not be able to stick so well if you have oily eyelids.

2) Choose your preferred fake eyelashes and check for the length! (Most fake eyelashes are too long for our eyes) Measure the fake eyelashes with your own eye and trim is according to your length. Start trimming from both ends or else the eyelash will be uneven.

3) Apply adhesive 'glue' to the trimmed false eyelashes. (Make sure it is just enough, to prevent any excess 'glue' from entering the eyes)

4) When applying yourself, look into the mirror and tilt your head upwards. Your eyes will be looking downwards and that's the best position. Apply the eyelashes to the inner corner of your eyelid to the outer.

5) Press and hold the false eyelashes as close to your lash line as possible. (Be careful not to poke your eyes) Another method would be holding the fake eyelashes by the lash and push it upwards.

Leave the lashes to dry for a minute or so.

Additional tips: Apply eyeliner at the end to dramatize the effect/ curl and apply a coat of mascara before your fake eyelashes
